Paige Continues to Revolutionise

After being announced as the new General Manager of SmackDown Live last Tuesday, Paige has already began to take effect on the blue brand after teasing the implementation of a Women's Tag Team Championship.

At only 25 years old, Paige was forced to announce her retirement on RAW last week after a neck injury that she suffered at a WWE Live event, following a Sasha Banks drop-kick to the back that connected with more impact than intended.

Paige, who holds the record as the youngest ever Women's Champion, has noted the possibility of multiple injunctions over at SmackDown Live including the introduction of a Women's Tag Team Championship, bringing back Talking Smack, allowing NXT Superstars to compete on certain weeks, having a championship defended every week, and bringing back more surprise Alumni, such as Rey Mysterio, to the fans' delight.

A Success for SmackDown in the Superstar Shakeup?

RAW certainly drew the short straw in this years Superstar Shakeup, which saw the blue brand predominantly get the better luck of the draw.

SmackDown drafted big names such as Samoa Joe, Asuka, Jeff Hardy and The Miz; therefore, making the show more 'must-see' than ever.

The other superstars that drafted over to the 'Land of Opportunity' are as follows; Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, The Bar, Big Cass, R-Truth, SAnitY and Andrade "Cien" Almas.

This shakeup has essentially made dream matches possible, such as The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan; which, coincidentally, first takes place during WWE's UK Tour next month.

Bruno Sammartino Has Passed Away

The Legendary WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino has tragically passed away, aged 82, after being hospitalised for two months.

The Italian-born sensation was notably recognised for his 11-years as the WWWF Champion, which is the longest single reign in the promotions history.

Rest in peace to the man who was dubbed as 'The Living Legend' during his lifetime, and the man who will be forever remembered as one of the greatest wrestlers to ever live.

Goldust Retires

The future Hall of Famer Goldust has decided to hang up his boots at the age of 49.

Goldust, who is one of the most controversial figures in WWE history, tweeted that his retirement is due to the growing roster and his desire to help the younger talent.

He said: "Now as I grow older and a little wiser, I want to pass on my knowledge, just as it was to me.

"If any of our young talent needs help. I'm here".

After an illustrious 30-year-long career, it'll be sad for the WWE Universe to say their farewell to a true wrestling legend.

Is The Undertaker Back from the Dead?

According to PWStream, The Undertaker may be wrestling a lot more frequently this year following his win over John Cena at Wrestlemania 34.

The Undertaker, 53, is scheduled to face off against Rusev in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia next Friday.

Despite a minor upheaval from the WWE Universe following his substantially short match on The Grandest Stage of Them All, 'Taker's full-time return is much anticipated by fans over the world; made evident by a recent Twitter poll via @joebourne_, which gained an 82% 'yes' vote on whether The Deadman still has the ability to wrestle at the highest level.

Is Show Time over for The Showoff?

Reports have suggested that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler is yet to sign a new deal with the company, despite his current contract expiring in the summer.

Ziggler, 37, arrived on RAW last Monday with NXT Superstar Drew McIntyre in the hope of a revamp and main-event push.

Although their chemistry seemed impeccable after delivering a Claymore Zig Zag to Apollo, Ziggler has notably been unhappy with his lack of championship opportunity at the WWE; therefore, he may take his career and undeniable talent elsewhere.

WWE Sue CM Punk

According to multiple reports, WWE have sued CM Punk after he spoke during a podcast about the company's head doctor misdiagnosing an MRSA infection, as well as other things.

The details of this developing story are yet to be confirmed; however, the two parties are due to meet in court on May 21st, so watch this space.

Catherine Alexander Sues WWE

According to PWInsider, Randy Orton's tattoo artist, Catherine Alexander, is filing a lawsuit against WWE for using her tattoo designs, without her permission, in their 2K games.
